Job Requirements
- minimum of 2 years of box truck driving experience
- valid driver's license
- ability to lift heavy merchandise up to 50 lbs repetitively
- at least 21 years of age
- ability to flexibly work long haul assignments
- compliance with Federal, State, and local motor vehicle safety laws
- ability to communicate effectively
- positive attitude
- knowledge of employment, merchandise handling, and safety procedures
Job Qualifications
- minimum of 2 years of box truck driving experience
- valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or 1 chargeable accident within the last three years
- knowledge of safe operation of a heavy truck
- understanding of Federal, State, and local motor vehicle safety laws
- ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers
- positive attitude when working with others
- knowledge of merchandise handling and safety procedures
Job Duties
- loading merchandise
- securing the merchandise and unloading merchandise from the loading docks and delivery truck at specified locations
- pre-inspection of truck before departure
- planning routes and meeting delivery times
- maintaining accurate documentation of all shipments
- driving loads to their destination by the time outlined by 3RDGEN Logistics LLC
- using excellent customer relations with both internal and external customers
