Job Requirements
- Valid and current license
- Must have 1-year verifiable commercial driving experience and 3 years of employment history
- Must have a clean motor vehicle record
- No unexplained gaps in employment
- Must be DOT medically qualified
- A motor vehicle report will be run for all states where applicants hold or have held a license for the past 3 years
- Physically demanding daily tasks including repeatedly lifting about 50 lbs, pulling stacks of trays weighing approximately 25 to 50 pounds, and loading/unloading grocery products from box truck
- Permanent work authorization in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Commercial driving experience of at least 2 years
- Professional driving experience of at least 1 year
- Valid and current driver license
- Clean motor vehicle record
- DOT medical qualification
- Strong physical ability to manage lifting and loading tasks
- Knowledge of New York City geography preferred
Job Duties
- Transport baked goods and snacks to New York City schools
- Deliver products to approximately 1,500 sites across all five boroughs
- Load and unload grocery products from box trucks
- Lift heavy items weighing up to 50 pounds regularly
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean driving record
- Utilize routing systems and company technology effectively
- Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally
