Job Requirements
- must be at least 19 years old for car and scooter delivery
- must be at least 18 years old for bicycle or foot delivery
- have a 2-door or 4-door car for car delivery
- have a motorized scooter under 50cc for scooter delivery
- have a valid driver’s license in your name
- pass a background screening based on your Social Security number
- provide government-issued identification
- use a smartphone compatible with the Uber app
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- valid driver’s license for car and scooter delivery
- government-issued ID for bicycle and foot delivery
- basic smartphone proficiency to navigate the Uber app
- good knowledge of Weslaco city streets and areas
- experience in customer service or delivery preferred but not required
- ability to operate a vehicle or bicycle safely and reliably
Job Duties
- accept delivery requests through the Uber app
- pick up orders from restaurants or merchants
- deliver food and items promptly and safely
- interact courteously with customers and restaurant staff
- maintain real-time updates and communication using the Uber platform
- manage own schedule to maximize delivery efficiency
- ensure compliance with local traffic laws and safety regulations
