Job Requirements
- be at least 19 years old to deliver by car or scooter
- be at least 18 years old to deliver by bicycle or on foot
- own a 2-door or 4-door car for car deliveries
- have a motorized scooter under 50cc for scooter deliveries
- provide valid driver’s license for applicable delivery methods
- provide government-issued ID for bicycle or foot deliveries
- submit Social Security number for background screening
- have a smartphone to use the Uber app
- pass a background check
Job Qualifications
- valid driver’s license for deliveries by car or scooter
- government-issued ID for deliveries by bicycle or foot
- proficiency in using GPS and navigation apps
- basic knowledge of local area and traffic regulations
- strong communication and customer service skills
- ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- prior driving or delivery experience preferred but not required
Job Duties
- deliver food orders promptly and accurately
- maintain excellent customer service and communication
- navigate efficiently using GPS and map applications
- ensure compliance with Uber's safety and quality standards
- manage and track delivery schedules and routes
- handle different types of deliveries including by car, scooter, bicycle, or foot
- maintain cleanliness and good condition of delivery vehicle or equipment
