Job Requirements
- be at least 19 years old for car or scooter delivery
- be at least 18 years old for bicycle or foot delivery
- submit Social Security number for background screening
- have a valid driver’s license in your name if delivering by car or scooter
- own a 2-door or 4-door car for car delivery
- have a motorized scooter under 50cc if delivering by scooter
- have a government-issued ID if delivering by bicycle or on foot
- have a smartphone compatible with the Uber app
- possess a clean driving record is preferred
- be able to lift and carry food orders safely
Job Qualifications
- valid driver’s license for car or scooter delivery
- government-issued ID for bicycle or foot delivery
- ability to operate a 2-door or 4-door car, motorized scooter under 50cc, or bicycle
- familiarity with Tampa streets and neighborhoods is helpful
- basic smartphone proficiency to operate the Uber app
- strong communication skills for customer interactions
- previous delivery or driving experience is a plus
Job Duties
- drive and deliver food orders promptly and safely
- maintain a clean and operable vehicle or transportation method
- communicate with customers and support when needed
- track and manage delivery routes using the Uber app
- ensure all deliveries comply with Uber’s safety and quality standards
- adapt delivery style to accommodate different transportation options
