Job Requirements
- must be at least 19 years old for car or scooter delivery
- must be at least 18 years old for bicycle or foot delivery
- valid driver’s license for car or scooter delivery
- government-issued ID required for bicycle or foot delivery
- have a 2-door or 4-door car for car delivery
- motorized scooter under 50cc for scooter delivery
- submit social security number for background screening
- pass background check
- own a smartphone compatible with the Uber app
Job Qualifications
- valid driver’s license if delivering by car or scooter
- government-issued ID if delivering by bicycle or on foot
- age 19 or older for car or scooter delivery
- age 18 or older for bicycle or on foot delivery
- knowledge of South El Monte and surrounding areas
- basic smartphone proficiency to use Uber app
- ability to communicate effectively with customers and Uber support
Job Duties
- deliver food orders to customers in a timely manner
- maintain communication with customers and support team through the Uber app
- ensure orders are handled carefully and meet quality standards
- navigate efficiently using GPS and maps to reach delivery destinations
- manage payment transactions through the platform
- adhere to all traffic and safety regulations while driving or riding
- provide excellent customer service and represent Uber positively
