Job Requirements
- be at least 19 years old to deliver by car or scooter
- have a 2-door or 4-door car if delivering by car
- possess a motorized scooter under 50cc if delivering by scooter
- hold a valid driver’s license when delivering by car or scooter
- be at least 18 years old with a government-issued ID if delivering by bicycle or on foot
- provide Social Security number for background check
- have a smartphone to use the Uber app
Job Qualifications
- valid driver’s license for the chosen mode of transportation
- ability to pass background screening
- access to a vehicle, scooter, bicycle, or ability to deliver on foot
- knowledge of local geography and delivery routes
- strong communication and customer service skills
- ability to use smartphone applications proficiently
- self-motivation and time management skills
Job Duties
- deliver food and other items to customers promptly
- utilize the Uber Eats platform to manage orders and routes
- maintain communication with customers for delivery updates
- ensure all deliveries are handled safely and securely
- comply with local traffic and delivery regulations
- manage time efficiently to maximize earnings
- provide excellent customer service during each delivery
