Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have a valid US Social Security number
- Must pass a background check
- Possess a valid driver’s license (for car or scooter delivery)
- Own a suitable vehicle (2-door or 4-door car, motorized scooter under 50cc, bicycle, or be able to deliver on foot)
- Be legally authorized to work in the US
- Have a smartphone compatible with the Uber app
Job Qualifications
- At least 18 years old for bicycle or foot delivery
- At least 19 years old with a valid driver’s license for car or scooter delivery
- Ability to use a smartphone and the Uber app
- Good knowledge of the local area
- Strong customer service skills
- Background check clearance
- Valid government-issued ID or driver’s license depending on delivery method
Job Duties
- Make deliveries to customers promptly and courteously
- Maintain communication with customers and support teams
- Ensure accuracy and quality of each delivery
- Follow all local traffic laws and safety guidelines
- Use the Uber platform to accept and track delivery requests
- Manage your own schedule and vehicle maintenance
- Provide excellent customer service
