Job Requirements
- must be at least 19 years old for car or scooter delivery, or 18 years old for bicycle or foot delivery
- valid driver’s license for car and scooter drivers
- vehicle registration for cars with two or four doors
- ownership of a motorized scooter under 50cc for scooter delivery
- government-issued ID for bicycle and foot delivery
- passing a background screening
- providing a valid Social Security number
Job Qualifications
- valid driver’s license appropriate to chosen delivery method
- familiarity with the city and efficient navigation skills
- ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- customer service experience preferred but not mandatory
- basic smartphone proficiency for app usage
- strong communication skills
- background check clearance
Job Duties
- pick up food orders from restaurants or other food establishments
- deliver orders promptly to customers using the app’s navigation
- maintain communication with customers and Uber support when necessary
- manage delivery schedules flexibly to fit personal availability
- handle transactions and ensure accurate order fulfillment
- keep delivery equipment and vehicle clean and in good condition
- comply with Uber’s safety and service standards
