Job Requirements
- must be at least 19 years old to deliver by car or scooter
- must be at least 18 years old to deliver by bicycle or on foot
- valid driver's license in applicant's name (for car and scooter delivery)
- motorized scooter under 50cc for scooter delivery
- government-issued ID for bicycle or foot delivery
- provide Social Security number for background screening
- have a 2-door or 4-door car for car delivery
- reliable smartphone for Uber app
Job Qualifications
- valid driver's license
- knowledge of Lancaster area and traffic laws
- experience in driving or delivery preferred but not required
- ability to use smartphone technology and GPS navigation
- strong communication and customer service skills
- ability to handle flexible work hours and work independently
Job Duties
- deliver food orders promptly and safely to customers
- navigate efficiently using the Uber app and GPS
- maintain communication with dispatch and customers regarding order status
- uphold vehicle or delivery equipment cleanliness and maintenance
- comply with all traffic laws and safety regulations
- manage flexible work hours and schedule deliveries independently
- provide friendly and professional customer service
