Job Requirements
- Be at least 19 years old to deliver by car or scooter
- Be at least 18 years old to deliver by bicycle or on foot
- Have a 2-door or 4-door car if delivering by car
- Possess a valid driver’s license in your name
- Submit Social Security number for background screening
- Own a motorized scooter under 50cc for scooter delivery
- Have a government-issued ID for bicycle or foot delivery
- Be willing to work as an independent contractor on a flexible schedule
Job Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license when delivering by car or scooter
- Ability to safely operate a bicycle or motorized scooter if applicable
- Government-issued ID for bike or foot delivery
- Strong customer service skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency
- Familiarity with the Uber Eats app
- Clean background check
Job Duties
- Deliver food orders to customers promptly and courteously
- Use the Uber Eats app to accept and manage delivery requests
- Maintain knowledge of local streets and restaurants in Lakewood
- Ensure safe handling and transportation of food items
- Communicate effectively with customers and restaurant partners
- Follow all traffic laws and delivery safety protocols
- Manage flexible working hours according to personal availability
