- be at least 19 years old for car or scooter delivery
- have a 2-door or 4-door car if delivering by car
- have a motorized scooter under 50cc if delivering by scooter
- have a valid driver’s license in your name if delivering by car or scooter
- be at least 18 years old for bicycle or foot delivery
- have a government-issued ID for bicycle or foot delivery
- submit Social Security number for background screening
- own a smartphone compatible with the Uber app
Job Qualifications

- ability to navigate Lafayette and surrounding areas
- customer service skills
- reliable transportation (car, scooter, bicycle, or ability to walk)
- smartphone compatible with Uber app
- knowledge of local food establishments
- background screening clearance
Job Duties
- accept delivery requests through the Uber Eats app
- navigate to restaurants and customers efficiently
- ensure timely and accurate delivery of food orders
- maintain communication with customers and Uber support when necessary
- adhere to safety and traffic laws while delivering
- inspect vehicle or transportation method for readiness and safety
- provide excellent customer service during deliveries
