Job Requirements
- be at least 19 years old to deliver by car or scooter
- have a valid driver’s license
- own a 2-door or 4-door car for car deliveries
- if delivering by scooter, have a motorized scooter under 50cc
- be at least 18 years old to deliver by bicycle or on foot
- submit social security number for background screening
- possess a government-issued ID for bicycle or foot delivery
- ability to work independently as an independent contractor
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- valid driver’s license for car and scooter deliveries
- ability to operate a vehicle, scooter, bicycle, or deliver on foot safely
- basic smartphone proficiency for using the Uber app
- strong communication skills
- background check clearance
- previous experience in delivery or driving is a plus but not required
Job Duties
- deliver food orders to customers accurately and on time
- navigate efficiently using the Uber driver app
- communicate clearly with customers and restaurant partners
- maintain cleanliness and safety of the delivery vehicle or equipment
- manage earnings and track delivery history through the app
- comply with all local traffic and safety laws
- provide excellent customer service to enhance rider satisfaction
