Job Requirements
- at least 19 years old for car and scooter deliveries
- at least 18 years old for bicycle or foot deliveries
- have a 2-door or 4-door car for vehicle deliveries
- motorized scooter under 50cc for scooter deliveries
- valid driver’s license in your name
- government-issued ID for bicycle or pedestrian delivery
- submit Social Security number for background screening
- reliable transportation for your chosen delivery method
Job Qualifications
- valid driver’s license for vehicle deliveries
- valid government-issued ID for bicycle or pedestrian deliveries
- ability to use a smartphone with the Uber Eats app
- good communication skills
- familiarity with local Escondido streets and neighborhoods
- basic food handling knowledge
- ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Job Duties
- accept delivery requests through the Uber Eats app
- pick up orders from restaurants promptly
- deliver food orders to customers accurately and on time
- maintain communication with customers and Uber support as needed
- ensure safe and responsible driving or operation of delivery vehicle
- adhere to local traffic laws and Uber policies
- provide excellent customer service during deliveries
