Job Requirements
- be at least 18 years old to deliver by bicycle or on foot
- be at least 19 years old to deliver by car or scooter
- possess a valid driver’s license if delivering by car or scooter
- own a 2-door or 4-door vehicle if delivering by car
- have a motorized scooter under 50cc if delivering by scooter
- submit a Social Security number for background check
- have a government-issued ID if delivering by bicycle or on foot
Job Qualifications
- valid driver’s license or government-issued ID based on delivery method
- ability to pass background screening
- access to a qualifying vehicle, scooter, bicycle, or willingness to deliver on foot
- strong customer service and communication skills
- familiarity with smartphone applications and GPS navigation
- reliability and professionalism
- ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Job Duties
- deliver food and packages promptly and safely
- manage delivery routes efficiently using the Uber app
- communicate professionally with customers and support teams
- maintain vehicle or transportation device in good condition
- comply with local traffic laws and Uber policies
- assist in providing an excellent customer experience
- handle payment transactions or digital confirmations through the platform
