Job Requirements
- must be at least 19 years old to deliver by car or scooter
- must be at least 18 years old to deliver by bicycle or on foot
- must have a valid driver’s license for car or scooter delivery
- must have a 2-door or 4-door car for car delivery
- must have a motorized scooter under 50cc for scooter delivery
- must have a government-issued ID for bicycle or foot delivery
- must submit Social Security number for background screening
- must comply with local traffic laws and Uber community guidelines
Job Qualifications
- valid driver’s license if delivering by car or scooter
- government-issued ID if delivering by bicycle or foot
- ability to use smartphone apps for navigation and delivery tracking
- prior delivery, driving, or gig experience is advantageous but not required
- basic interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Job Duties
- accept delivery requests through the Uber app
- pick up food and items from restaurants and stores
- deliver orders promptly and accurately to customers
- maintain contactless delivery options
- manage own schedule and work hours
- ensure vehicle or transportation method is well-maintained
- follow all local traffic and safety regulations
