Job Requirements
- submit Social Security number for background screening
- have a 2-door or 4-door car for car delivery
- have a motorized scooter under 50cc for scooter delivery
- choose appropriate transportation method during sign-up
- maintain a smartphone compatible with the Uber app
- follow local traffic and safety regulations
- be able to lift and carry delivery items safely
Job Qualifications
- valid driver’s license for car and scooter delivery
- government-issued ID for bicycle or foot delivery
- at least 19 years old for car and scooter delivery
- at least 18 years old for bicycle or foot delivery
- familiarity with Chattanooga roads and neighborhoods
- ability to manage time effectively
- excellent customer service skills
Job Duties
- deliver food orders to customers on time and with care
- navigate efficiently using GPS and local knowledge
- maintain professionalism and courteous communication with customers and restaurant staff
- ensure the safety and condition of the delivery vehicle
- manage flexible working hours and adhere to Uber policies
- use the Uber app to accept and complete delivery requests
- provide exceptional customer service to drive repeat business
