- submit Social Security number for background screening
- have a 2-door or 4-door car for car deliveries
- own a motorized scooter under 50cc if delivering by scooter
- provide a valid driver’s license in your name
- have a government-issued ID for bicycle or foot delivery
- live in or near Bridgeport
- access to a smartphone and data plan
- meet local vehicle insurance and registration requirements
Job Qualifications
- must be at least 19 years old for car or scooter delivery
- must be at least 18 years old for bicycle or foot delivery
- valid driver’s license required for vehicle deliveries
- have a government-issued ID for bicycle or foot deliveries
- ability to use a smartphone and Uber app
- good communication skills
- reliable and self-motivated
Job Duties
- accept delivery requests through the Uber app
- pick up orders from restaurants or stores
- deliver orders promptly to customers
- maintain customer communication for smooth delivery
- handle food and goods carefully to prevent damage
- follow traffic and safety regulations
- manage your schedule and driving routes independently
