Job Requirements
- Valid non-CDL driver’s license
- Clean driving record
- Ability to work early morning shifts and rotating weekends
- Physical stamina to perform loading and unloading tasks
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Ability to read and understand delivery instructions
- Friendly and professional attitude
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with professional driving, preferably with food shipments in refrigerated vehicles
- Ability to use technology including iPads and computers
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor vehicle and equipment repairs
- Strong reading comprehension skills for delivery instructions
- Physical ability to lift at least 50 pounds
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Job Duties
- Drive company-owned refrigerated van safely and efficiently through city streets
- Deliver food to wholesale retail partners and Smart Fridges within scheduled time windows
- Use iPad technology to communicate and verify completed deliveries
- Ensure accuracy of deliveries by following clear instructions and protocols
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor as the face of Farmer's Fridge
- Adhere to food safety and quality standards during loading and delivery
- Monitor van condition and report minor mechanical issues or maintenance needs
