Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalency
  • valid driver’s license with a good driving record
  • ability to qualify for employer provided DOT Medical card
  • physical ability to lift heavy objects up to and exceeding 100 pounds
  • ability to operate box trucks with less than 26,000 pounds GVW
  • effective communication skills
  • dependable and cooperative work attitude

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalency preferred
  • valid driver’s license with a good driving record
  • ability to qualify for employer provided DOT Medical card
  • commercial driving and/or warehouse experience preferred
  • ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy weights
  • strong communication and customer service skills
  • knowledge of warehouse operations such as receiving, picking, staging, and inventory handling

Job Duties

  • obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures
  • inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, or brakes to ensure proper working condition
  • report any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles
  • properly document goods delivered or loaded
  • load and unload trucks
  • verify the contents of inventory loads against shipping papers
  • maintain records such as vehicle logs, records of cargo, or billing statements in accordance with regulations
  • read maps and follow written or verbal geographic directions
  • report delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations to bases or other vehicles using telephones or mobile two-way radios
  • be able to count, collect, and keep track of billing invoices and payments
