Job Requirements

high school diploma or equivalency
valid driver’s license with a good driving record
ability to qualify for employer provided DOT Medical card
physical ability to lift heavy objects up to and exceeding 100 pounds
ability to operate box trucks with less than 26,000 pounds GVW
effective communication skills
dependable and cooperative work attitude

Job Qualifications

high school diploma or equivalency preferred
valid driver’s license with a good driving record
ability to qualify for employer provided DOT Medical card
commercial driving and/or warehouse experience preferred
ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy weights
strong communication and customer service skills
knowledge of warehouse operations such as receiving, picking, staging, and inventory handling

Job Duties

obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures
inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, or brakes to ensure proper working condition
report any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles
properly document goods delivered or loaded
load and unload trucks
verify the contents of inventory loads against shipping papers
maintain records such as vehicle logs, records of cargo, or billing statements in accordance with regulations
read maps and follow written or verbal geographic directions
report delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations to bases or other vehicles using telephones or mobile two-way radios
be able to count, collect, and keep track of billing invoices and payments
