Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years or older
- Minimum of one year professional driving experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Good driving record
- Ability to lift 50-80 pounds
- Ability to exert pushing force up to 40 pounds
- Ability to follow instructions and safety protocols
- Ability to provide quality customer service
- Willingness to work overtime
- Pass pre-employment drug screening
- Possess valid DOT Medical Card
Job Qualifications
- Must be 21 years or older
- One year of professional driving experience with cube van, box truck, or semi
- Successful completion of company road test by qualified assessor
- Ability to be trained and safely use powered industrial trucks and high reach lifts
- Possess valid driver’s license with good driving record
- Ability to lift 50 pounds consistently with occasional lifts up to 80 pounds
- Ability to exert pushing force up to 40 pounds
- Ability to follow instructions and safe operating procedures
- Demonstrated ability to provide quality customer service
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test
- Possess valid DOT Medical Card according to DOT/FMCSA guidelines
Job Duties
- Drive a box truck under 26,001 pounds or other vehicles making 10-20 deliveries per day
- Complete and maintain accurate records and logs including driver’s logs and fuel purchase logs
- Make on time deliveries to customers in a safe and punctual manner in all weather conditions
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles daily
- Consistently lift 50 pounds with occasional lifts up to 80 pounds
- Exert pushing force up to 40 pounds when handling barrels and industrial/agricultural tires
- Assist in loading/unloading trucks and operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks when necessary
- Operate handheld device to ensure all deliveries are fulfilled
- Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and management
- Collect payments from customers upon delivery
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor
