Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years or older
- valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- one year of professional driving experience
- ability to safely lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally up to 80 pounds
- ability to exert pushing force of up to 40 pounds
- ability to follow safety and operating procedures
- ability to communicate effectively
- ability to work overtime as needed
- successful completion of company road test
- pass pre-employment drug test excluding THC
- valid DOT medical card per DOT/FMCSA guidelines
Job Qualifications
- Must be 21 years or older
- one year of professional driving experience with cube van, box truck, or semi and successful completion of company road test
- ability to be trained and safely operate powered industrial trucks and high reach lifts
- must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a good driving record
- ability to safely lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally up to 80 pounds
- ability to exert pushing force of up to 40 pounds
- ability to follow instructions and safe operating procedures
- demonstrated ability to provide quality customer service
- ability to work overtime as needed
- successfully pass a pre-employment drug test excluding THC
- valid DOT medical card per DOT/FMCSA guidelines
Job Duties
- Drive a box truck under 26,001 pounds or other vehicles on assigned delivery routes
- complete and maintain accurate records including driver's logs and fuel purchase logs
- make on-time deliveries in various weather conditions while adhering to safety standards
- perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- consistently lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds with team assistance or mechanical equipment
- push barrels or industrial/agricultural tires exerting up to 40 pounds of force
- assist in loading and unloading trucks and operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks as needed
- work approximately 8-12 hours per day including possible overtime
- operate handheld devices to ensure deliveries are completed
- communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and management
- collect payments from customers upon delivery
- perform other job-related duties as assigned by supervisors
