Job Requirements

  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must pass background and drug testing as required by federal and/or state department(s) of transportation regulations
  • Must pass DOT physical for trucks over 10k lbs
  • Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to travel frequently
  • Safety sensitive position requiring passing a 10 panel drug screen
  • CDL drivers may be required to be clean shaven

  • Ability to speak professionally and courteously with customers and staff
  • Ability to remain focused in a busy environment
  • Must pass background and drug testing as required by federal and/or state department(s) of transportation regulations
  • Must pass DOT physical for trucks driven over 10k lbs

Job Duties

  • Operates vehicle according to applicable state and federal transportation laws
  • Transports loads safely and in a timely manner over required route, obeying all traffic laws and observing all safety regulations
  • Maneuvers truck and trailer into loading and unloading areas and follows loading crew signals
  • Assists with loading, unloading goods and materials using specialized equipment when necessary
  • Maintains signed invoices, shipping bills of lading, and other required paperwork
  • Performs routine vehicle service checks and reports maintenance malfunctions
  • Arranges trailers in shipping yards for optimal loading patterns
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
