Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Must possess valid Class C driver's license or such other proper license classification as required by the department of transportation
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Prior work experience sufficient to work under general supervision
  • Ability to occasionally lift products weighing up to approximately 50 pounds
  • Availability to travel 75% of the time without overnight stays
  • Willingness to comply with company safety policies and transportation regulations
  • Ability to operate powered industrial vehicles occasionally
  • Such alternatives as the company may find appropriate and acceptable

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Prior work experience sufficient to work under general supervision
  • Must possess valid Class C driver's license
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Ability to communicate effectively across teams, functions and departments
  • Must demonstrate strategic and innovative thinking skills
  • Knowledge of relevant safety and transportation regulations

Job Duties

  • Timely transportation of product from origin to destination as assigned
  • Assist in verification of all outgoing and incoming product for accuracy in terms of size, amount and type
  • Collect payments from customers in monetary form acceptable to company
  • Ensure all administrative paperwork concerning delivery orders required to move with shipments is available for inspection and that appropriate paperwork accompanies delivery
  • Maintain professional representation of the company in all interactions with customers and through responsible driving
  • Maintain records required for compliance with state and federal regulations, including driver's logs, records of fuel purchases, mileage records and other records required by law and company policy
  • Abide by all company safety policies and state and federal transportation regulations
  • Occasionally operate powered industrial vehicles (forklift pallet jacks, order pickers, etc.)
