Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years or older
- One year of professional driving experience
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Ability to consistently lift 50 pounds
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 80 pounds
- Ability to exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds
- Ability to follow safety protocols
- Ability to work overtime
- Must successfully pass pre-employment drug test
- Must have valid DOT Medical Card
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to use handheld devices
- Must be able to operate forklifts and other industrial equipment
Job Qualifications
- Must be 21 years or older
- One year of professional driving experience with cube van, box truck or semi, and satisfactory completion of company road test
- Ability to be trained and safely use powered industrial trucks and high reach lifts
- Possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a good driving record
- Ability to consistently lift 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds
- Ability to exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds
- Ability to follow instructions and safe operating procedures
- Demonstrated ability to provide quality customer service
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Successfully pass pre-employment drug test excluding THC/marijuana
- Valid DOT Medical Card as per DOT/FMCSA guidelines
Job Duties
- Drive a box truck under 26,001 pounds or other vehicles during one of our many routes while making 10-20 deliveries/day deliveries
- Complete and maintain accurate records and logs including driver's logs, fuel purchase logs, and other records as required by company policy and law
- Make on time deliveries at our customer's locations while in a safe, punctual manner in all weather conditions
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the vehicle you're driving for the day
- Consistently lift 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds, using team lifts or mechanical equipment as needed
- Exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds when handling barrels and industrial/agricultural tires
- Assist in the loading/unloading of trucks and occasionally operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- Operate a handheld device provided by the company to ensure all deliveries are fulfilled
- Communicate effectively and efficiently with customers, coworkers, and management
- Collect payments from customers upon delivery of product
- Follow all safety guidelines and supervisor instructions
- Perform other job-related tasks as assigned
