Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years or older
- One year of professional driving experience
- Ability to be trained on powered industrial trucks and high reach lifts
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Ability to lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally 80 pounds
- Ability to exert 40 pounds pushing force
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
- Demonstrated customer service ability
- Available to work overtime
- Pass pre-employment drug test excluding THC/marijuana
- Possess valid DOT Medical Card
Job Qualifications
- Must be 21 years or older
- One year of professional driving experience with cube vans, box trucks, or semi-trucks
- Ability to be trained and safely operate powered industrial trucks including forklifts and high reach lifts
- Possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Ability to safely lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds
- Ability to exert pushing force of up to 40 pounds
- Ability to follow instructions and safe operating procedures
- Demonstrated quality customer service skills
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test excluding THC/marijuana
- Hold a valid DOT Medical Card compliant with DOT/FMCSA guidelines
Job Duties
- Drive a box truck under 26,001 pounds or other vehicles on delivery routes making 10-20 deliveries per day
- Complete and maintain accurate records and logs including driver logs and fuel purchase logs
- Make on-time deliveries at customer locations safely and punctually in all weather conditions
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections daily
- Consistently lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 80 pounds with team lifts or mechanical equipment
- Exert pushing force up to 40 pounds when handling barrels and industrial/agricultural tires
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks and occasionally operate equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks
- Work approximately 8-12 hours per day
- Operate handheld devices to ensure delivery completion
- Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and management
- Collect payments from customers upon delivery
- Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by supervisor
