Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years or older
- Minimum one year of professional driving experience
- Valid driver's license
- Good driving record
- Ability to safely lift 50 pounds and occasionally up to 80 pounds
- Ability to exert pushing force of up to 40 pounds
- Ability to operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks
- Ability to follow safety and operating procedures
- Ability to pass a drug test excluding THC/marijuana
- Valid DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain one
- Ability to work overtime as needed
Job Qualifications
- Must be 21 years or older
- One year of professional driving experience with cube van, box truck, or semi and pass company road test
- Ability to be trained and safely operate powered industrial trucks and high reach lifts
- Valid driver's license and good driving record in compliance with company policy
- Ability to consistently lift 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds
- Ability to exert pushing force of up to 40 pounds
- Ability to follow instructions and safe operating procedures
- Demonstrated ability to provide quality customer service
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug test excluding THC/marijuana
- Valid DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain one per DOT/FMCSA guidelines
Job Duties
- Drive a box truck under 26,001 pounds or other vehicles during routes while making 10-20 deliveries per day
- Complete and maintain accurate records and logs including driver's logs and fuel purchase logs as required
- Make on time deliveries at customer locations in a safe and punctual manner in all weather conditions
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the vehicle being driven
- Consistently lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds using team lifts or mechanical equipment
- Exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds when working with barrels or industrial/agricultural tires
- Assist in loading/unloading trucks and occasionally operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- Work approximately 8-12 hours per day
- Operate a handheld device to ensure all deliveries are fulfilled
- Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and management
- Collect payments from customers upon delivery
- Perform other job-related tasks and follow supervisor instructions as needed
