Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older (21+ to deliver alcohol)
- Have consistent access to a smartphone
- Possess a valid driver’s license number
- Provide a social security number (US only)
- Own any car, scooter, or bicycle (in select cities)
- Complete identity verification
- Meet regional age requirements where applicable
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in delivery or customer service is a plus but not mandatory
- Familiarity with local geography and traffic patterns
- Ability to use a smartphone and mobile applications effectively
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Valid driver’s license for car deliveries
- Ability to work independently
Job Duties
- Pick up orders from restaurants or stores
- Deliver orders promptly and accurately to customers
- Use the DoorDash Dasher app to manage delivery assignments
- Communicate effectively with customers and support when needed
- Follow safety and traffic laws during deliveries
- Handle food and products with care
- Cash out earnings via the app
