Job Requirements
- At least 18 years old (21+ to deliver alcohol in select states)
- Valid driver’s license for motorized vehicles
- Access to a car, scooter, or bicycle (depending on city)
- Social security number (US only)
- Consistent access to a smartphone
- Ability to pass a background check
- Eligible to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior delivery or driving experience is beneficial
- Ability to navigate using GPS and smartphone apps
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Reliable and punctual with strong time management
- Ability to lift and carry orders safely
Job Duties
- Pick up orders from restaurants or stores
- Deliver orders to customers promptly and accurately
- Use the DoorDash Dasher app to manage deliveries
- Maintain customer communication when necessary
- Follow all traffic and safety regulations
- Handle payments and cash out earnings
- Provide excellent customer service
