- Be at least 18 years old (21+ to deliver alcohol)
- Possess a valid driver’s license number (if using a vehicle)
- Have access to a car, scooter, or bicycle (in select cities)
- Provide a social security number (US only)
- Have consistent access to a smartphone
- Complete successful ID verification
- Meet specific age requirements for certain states (e.g., 19+ in Arizona, California, etc.)
Job Qualifications
- Ability to operate a vehicle, scooter, or bicycle safely
- Proficient with smartphone apps and GPS navigation
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Familiarity with local delivery area a plus
- Basic understanding of cash handling and order accuracy
Job Duties
- Pick up orders from restaurants, stores, or retailers
- Deliver orders promptly and accurately to customers
- Use the DoorDash Dasher app to manage delivery requests
- Communicate with customers and support teams as needed
- Manage delivery equipment and ensure safety
- Cash out earnings via the DoorDash Crimson Debit Card
- Follow all local traffic and safety laws
