Job Requirements
- Minimum age of 18 years
- possession of a valid driver’s license number
- access to a vehicle such as a car, scooter, or bicycle in select cities
- social security number required for US applicants
- consistent access to a smartphone
- must be at least 21 years old to deliver alcohol in specific states
- eligibility for ID verification
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- valid driver’s license
- previous delivery or customer service experience advantageous
- familiarity with local area and navigation apps
- ability to operate a car, scooter, or bicycle in select cities
- reliable smartphone usage
Job Duties
- Deliver meals from local restaurants to customers on time
- pick up grocery and retail orders and deliver them efficiently
- use the DoorDash app to receive and manage delivery requests
- ensure timely and accurate delivery of all orders
- provide excellent customer service during deliveries
- manage multiple deliveries to maximize earnings
- follow all safety and traffic regulations while dashing
