Job Requirements
- must be 18 years or older (21+ to deliver alcohol)
- have a reliable car, scooter, or bicycle (in select cities)
- possess a valid driver’s license number
- provide social security number (US only)
- have consistent access to a smartphone
- pass identity verification checks
- meet age requirements specific to certain states
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- basic knowledge of local area and navigation skills
- familiarity with smartphone apps and technology
- strong communication and customer service skills
- ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- prior delivery or driving experience is a plus
- valid driver’s license (for motor vehicle delivery)
Job Duties
- pick up orders from local restaurants, convenience stores, or grocery outlets
- deliver orders promptly and safely to customers
- manage deliveries using the DoorDash Dasher app
- communicate effectively with customers and support team as needed
- maintain a clean and reliable vehicle or mode of transportation
- adhere to all traffic laws and safety guidelines
- handle payments and cash out earnings through the app
