Job Requirements
- At least 18 years old (21+ to deliver alcohol)
- Access to any car, scooter, or bicycle (in select cities)
- Valid driver’s license number
- Social security number (for US applicants)
- Consistent access to a smartphone
- Eligibility to work in the United States
- Ability to pass a background check
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior delivery or customer service experience is a plus
- Basic smartphone proficiency
- Familiarity with local geography and navigation apps
- Ability to manage time and work independently
- Strong communication skills
- Physical ability to manage delivery packages safely
Job Duties
- Deliver food, groceries, and retail orders efficiently and safely
- Manage timely pickups and deliveries following customer instructions
- Communicate effectively with customers and support team as needed
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and earnings
- Provide excellent customer service to enhance overall experience
- Use the DoorDash app for real-time navigation and delivery management
- Adhere to all local traffic laws and company policies
