Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years old
- must have a valid driver’s license number
- must have access to a smartphone
- must possess a U.S. social security number (if applicable)
- eligible vehicle or mode of transportation (car, scooter, or bicycle where allowed)
- comply with state age requirements for alcohol delivery
Job Qualifications
- ability to use a smartphone and operate the DoorDash Dasher app
- knowledge of local streets and delivery areas
- customer service skills
- valid driver’s license or appropriate vehicle operation permit
- age compliance (18+ years, 21+ to deliver alcohol in certain states)
- reliable transportation (car, scooter, or bicycle in select cities)
- social security number for U.S. Dashers
Job Duties
- pick up food, grocery, or retail orders from local merchants
- deliver orders accurately and promptly to customers
- manage deliveries using the DoorDash Dasher app
- provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly and professionally
- maintain safe driving practices and comply with traffic laws
- handle payments and use the DoorDash Crimson Visa Debit Card for instant deposits
- adhere to DoorDash policies and eligibility requirements
