Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older (21 or older for alcohol delivery in certain states)
- have a valid driver’s license
- have consistent access to a car, scooter, or bicycle (in select cities)
- possess a social security number (in the US)
- have a smartphone with internet access
- pass a background check
- complete successful ID verification
Job Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license or eligibility to use a scooter or bicycle in select cities
- must be at least 18 years old (21 for alcohol delivery)
- ability to operate a vehicle or eligible transportation method
- access to a smartphone
- familiarity with using mobile apps and GPS navigation
- ability to manage time effectively
- good communication skills
Job Duties
- Pick up orders from restaurants or stores
- deliver orders to customers promptly and courteously
- use the DoorDash app to accept and manage deliveries
- maintain communication with customers if necessary
- manage cash out and payment through the Dasher app
- comply with all traffic and safety regulations
- provide excellent customer service during each delivery
