Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have a valid driver’s license number
- Have a social security number (for US Dashers)
- Consistent access to a smartphone
- Use any car, scooter, or bicycle (in select cities) for delivery
- Be at least 21 years old to deliver alcohol
- Comply with local laws and regulations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Basic familiarity with smartphones and delivery apps
- Good communication skills
- Ability to navigate local streets and neighborhoods
- Reliable time management skills
- Knowledge of food safety and handling best practices is a plus
- Prior delivery experience is advantageous but not required
Job Duties
- Pick up orders from restaurants or retailers
- Deliver orders promptly and accurately to customers
- Use the DoorDash app to accept and manage delivery requests
- Provide excellent customer service and handle any delivery issues
- Follow all traffic laws and safety guidelines
- Maintain communication with customers when necessary
- Cash out earnings through the DoorDash app
