Job Requirements

  • must be at least 18 years old
  • possess a valid driver's license number
  • have consistent access to a smartphone
  • social security number required for US-based Dashers
  • have a vehicle, scooter, or bicycle in select cities
  • must be 21 or older to deliver alcohol

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior delivery or customer service experience is a plus but not required
  • familiarity with local area and navigation apps
  • ability to use a smartphone efficiently
  • strong time management skills
  • excellent communication and customer service abilities

Job Duties

  • pick up orders from restaurants or convenience stores
  • deliver orders promptly and accurately to customers
  • manage multiple types of deliveries including food, groceries, and retail items
  • utilize the DoorDash app to navigate and accept delivery requests
  • maintain communication with customers if needed
  • handle cash out and payment processes through the app
  • adhere to all traffic safety rules and company policies
