Job Requirements
- Be 18 years or older (with 21 or older required to deliver alcohol)
- Have access to a car, scooter, or bicycle in select cities
- Possess a valid driver's license
- Provide a social security number (for US-based Dashers)
- Consistent access to a smartphone
- Pass a background check
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior delivery or driving experience is beneficial but not required
- Familiarity with the local area or ability to navigate using GPS
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to operate a car, scooter, or bicycle depending on location
- Must be punctual and reliable
- Basic smartphone proficiency
Job Duties
- Pick up orders from restaurants, stores, or grocery locations
- Deliver orders promptly and accurately to customers
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the delivery process
- Manage delivery schedules with the Dasher app
- Handle payments and cash out using the DoorDash platform
- Follow safety and traffic laws while on the road
- Communicate with customers and support when needed
