Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old, must be 21 or older to deliver alcohol
- have a valid driver’s license
- possess consistent access to a smartphone
- provide a social security number if based in the US
- have a vehicle such as a car, scooter, or bicycle (in select cities)
- pass background and identification verification
- have reliable transportation and ability to navigate local areas
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- previous delivery or customer service experience is a plus
- ability to operate a car, scooter, or bicycle safely
- proficiency in using smartphones and apps
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Job Duties
- Pick up orders from restaurants, grocery stores, or retail outlets
- deliver orders to customers promptly and accurately
- use the DoorDash Dasher app to manage deliveries and accept orders
- communicate effectively with customers and support team if issues arise
- maintain knowledge of local areas and traffic patterns to optimize delivery routes
- handle payments and cash out earnings securely
- provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive experience
