Job Requirements

Be at least 18 years old (21+ to deliver alcohol)
Have a valid driver’s license number
Provide a social security number (US only)
Have consistent access to a smartphone
Own a car, scooter, or bicycle (in select cities for scooters and bicycles)
Pass background and identity verification
Must be at least 19 in certain states including Arizona, California, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Kentucky, Montana, New Jersey, New Mexico, Texas, Utah, and West Virginia

Job Qualifications

Basic familiarity with smartphone apps
Ability to navigate within the delivery area
Strong time management and organizational skills
Good communication skills
Reliable mode of transportation such as a car, scooter, or bicycle
Eligibility to work in the US and pass identity verification
Must meet minimum age requirements based on location

Job Duties

Pick up orders from restaurants, stores, or grocery locations
Deliver orders to customers in a timely and professional manner
Use the DoorDash Dasher app to accept and manage delivery requests
Communicate effectively with customers and support if issues arise
Handle cash and digital payments securely
Maintain high standards of customer service and punctuality
Ensure safety precautions are followed during deliveries
