Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Maintains food handler’s card by first work date
- Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record
- Pass company driving test
- Able to complete Smith System training
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to perform repetitive hand, wrist, arm, and back motions
- Willingness to work in shared production facility environment
- Committed to timely and safe deliveries
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record
- Professional driving experience preferred
- Direct Sales Delivery (DSD) experience preferred
- Able to pass company driving test
- Ability to complete and apply Smith System training
- Maintains valid food handler’s card
- Comfortable working in environments exposed to flour and grain dust
Job Duties
- Deliver artisan bakery bread to restaurants, grocery stores, and neighborhood cafes safely and efficiently
- Maintain a high level of customer orientation and professionalism
- Adhere to company driving policies and safely operate delivery vehicles
- Successfully complete and apply employer-provided Smith System training principles
- Handle and carry bakery products, lifting up to 50 lbs when necessary
- Maintain required food handler's card and comply with health and safety regulations
- Communicate clearly with dispatch and team members regarding delivery schedules and issues
