Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Driving record within MVR policy guidelines
  • Obtain Commercial Driver's Permit including General Knowledge, Air Brakes, and Combination Vehicles within 30 days of hire
  • Obtain Commercial Driver's License within 45 days of receiving permit
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information in English
  • Basic mathematical aptitude

Job Duties

  • Deliver product on a scheduled route and within appointed time parameters
  • Unload products from trailers by hand or using hand carts and place in designated customer areas
  • Rotate and stock coolers, shelves, and backroom stock at customer location
  • Operate handheld devices to generate invoices
  • Cross check inventory dropped off with the order and obtain signatures from customer to verify delivery
  • Collect payment where required, reconcile route and turn in all funds collected daily
  • Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip responsibilities in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies
  • Comply with all Federal Department of Transportation regulations related to vehicle operations and Class A Commercial CDL
  • Maintain and safely operate all assigned equipment including hand carts, pallets, load bars, personal protective equipment, electric pallet jacks, and lift gates
  • Adhere to all safety expectations and immediately advise supervisor of any unsafe conditions
  • Other duties as assigned
