Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • at least 2 years of prior driving experience
  • ability to obtain CDL Class A license upon hire
  • ability to pass a DOT Medical Exam and obtain a 1-Year Card
  • ability to use standard office and warehouse equipment including computerized bar code scanners, printers, and standard warehouse tools
  • basic math and reasoning skills
  • excellent work ethic
  • strong verbal and communication skills
  • ability to work independently
  • ability to work effectively in a team environment and take direction from Supervisor or Lead
  • ability to communicate well at all organizational levels
  • physical ability to lift, move, and carry up to 50 lbs
  • capability to be on feet for 8 hours a day
  • ability to perform physical movements such as standing, walking, pushing, pulling, reaching, twisting, climbing stairs and step ladders, bending, stooping, crouching, and kneeling
  • exposure to varying temperature conditions and warehouse noise levels

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Drive product to various customer locations
  • load and unload trucks according to established procedures
  • complete daily shipping paperwork
  • check assigned equipment for proper operation and communicate problems to the Delivery Supervisor
  • accurately identify and count inventory in assigned areas
  • learn how to operate warehouse equipment including forklifts and hand trucks
  • participate in ongoing general housekeeping of warehouse and delivery vehicles
