Job Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean driving record
- Ability to operate a personal vehicle for deliveries
- Basic math skills for handling payments
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Good physical stamina to perform delivery duties
- Strong customer service orientation
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in delivery driving or customer service preferred
- Familiarity with local delivery routes and geography
- Ability to operate POS systems and handle cash transactions accurately
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Job Duties
- Deliver orders and collect payment from customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner
- Promote, work, and act in a manner consistent with the mission of The SERG Restaurant Group
- Make deliveries of our product to residential and commercial locations
- Generate an efficient and timely delivery route that minimizes customer wait times when delivering more than one order
- Record completed delivery orders accurately and immediately after receipt into the register or POS system
- Accept guest payment, process credit card charges and make change (if applicable)
- Clean and maintain all equipment and work areas associated with the job function
- Report all equipment problems and maintenance issues to the restaurant manager
- Assist with answering phones, taking orders, and preparing orders, as needed
- Assist the restocking and replenishment of product and supplies as stipulated in the shift duties
- Attend all scheduled employee meetings and offer suggestions for improvement
- Coordinate with and assist fellow employees to meet guests' needs and support the operation of the restaurant
- Fill-in for fellow employees where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations
