Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED equivalent
- 21 years of age or older
- valid and current driver’s license in the state of residency
- at least 12 months professional driving experience with a 24-foot box truck or larger commercial vehicle
- physically capable of moving furniture indoors and outdoors and lifting over 100 pounds with assistance
- ability to follow FMCSA rules and regulations
- fluent English speaking and reading skills per FMCSA mandates
- ability to maintain DOT Medical Evaluator Certificate and pass related physical and drug screening
- successful completion of road test and meeting CORT’s driving standards
- authorized to work for any employer in the US
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or GED equivalent
- 21 years of age or older
- valid and current driver’s license in the state of residency
- minimum of 12 months professional experience driving a 24-foot box truck or larger commercial vehicle
- physically able and willing to move furniture indoors, outdoors, up or down stairs and in all weather conditions
- ability to lift 100+ pounds with a partner
- ability to comply with Federal Motor Carriers Safety Administration regulations
- ability to maintain a valid DOT Medical Evaluator Certificate
- ability to pass a road test based on FMCSA/CORT requirements
- acceptable motor vehicle record per CORT’s safe driving standards
Job Duties
- load furniture onto delivery trucks safely
- drive a 26-foot box truck with a lift gate to customer locations
- unload and deliver furniture to customers' homes or offices
- assemble furniture for customers
- interact professionally and courteously with customers
- assist in warehouse operations when needed
- comply with safety and operational protocols
