Job Requirements

  • valid driver’s license (CDL not required)
  • good driving record
  • working knowledge of traffic and highway laws and regulations
  • familiarity with the Washington region
  • good people skills
  • prior professional driving experience strongly preferred
  • ability to lift 30 pounds
  • ability to grasp, stoop, walk, push, and climb stairs
  • willingness to drive in a variety of weather conditions
  • background check and pre-employment drug test required

Job Duties

  • load van with day’s deliveries
  • deliver meals and groceries to client homes throughout the Washington Metro region
  • offer a friendly greeting to clients and report any changes in client living conditions
  • place gas in the vehicle and report any maintenance issues
  • drive safely according to traffic and highway laws
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle
  • participate in pre-delivery preparation and post-delivery reporting
