Job Requirements
- 18+ years old (21+ to deliver alcohol)
- own a car, scooter, or bicycle (depending on city)
- have a valid driver's license number
- possess a social security number (US only)
- consistent access to a smartphone
- pass background and ID verification
- meet eligibility criteria
- have ability to lift and carry items for delivery
- possess valid auto insurance if delivering by car
Job Qualifications
- must be at least 18 years old (21 or older to deliver alcohol)
- valid driver's license number
- familiarity with using a smartphone and apps
- ability to navigate local areas effectively
- basic communication skills for interacting with customers
- some previous delivery or driving experience preferred but not required
Job Duties
- pick up orders from restaurants, grocery stores, and retail locations
- deliver orders promptly and accurately to customers
- manage and organize deliveries efficiently
- maintain communication with customers through the DoorDash app
- handle payments, tips, and cash outs via the app
- adhere to all traffic, safety, and delivery guidelines
- provide excellent customer service during each delivery encounter
