Job Requirements
- must be 18 years or older (21+ to deliver alcohol)
- valid driver’s license number
- social security number (for US residents)
- access to a car, scooter, or bicycle (in select cities)
- consistent access to a smartphone
- ability to pass background and ID verification
- eligibility to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to use smartphone applications
- excellent time management skills
- good communication skills
- familiarity with local roads and neighborhoods
- ability to lift and carry food and packages
- prior delivery or customer service experience is a plus
Job Duties
- pick up orders from restaurants and stores
- deliver orders accurately and promptly to customers
- use the DoorDash Dasher app to manage deliveries
- maintain clear communication with customers and support team
- handle payments and cash out earnings using the app
- follow all relevant traffic and safety laws
- provide excellent customer service during deliveries
