Job Requirements
- 18 years or older
- Must be 21 years or older to deliver alcohol
- Have access to a car, scooter, or bicycle (in select cities)
- Valid driver’s license number
- Social security number (US only)
- Consistent access to a smartphone
- Must meet eligibility and successful ID verification
- Must be 19 years or older in certain states including Arizona, California, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Kentucky, Montana, New Jersey, New Mexico, Texas, Utah, and West Virginia
Job Qualifications
- Able to work independently with a reliable method of transportation
- Familiarity with using smartphone apps and GPS navigation
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Ability to provide friendly and professional customer service
- Basic knowledge of local geography and delivery areas
- Ability to handle cashless transactions using a mobile app
- Capable of managing multiple delivery tasks efficiently
Job Duties
- Pick up orders from restaurants, grocery stores, or retail locations
- Deliver orders promptly and accurately to customers
- Manage delivery schedule and routes efficiently
- Use the DoorDash Dasher app to accept and complete orders
- Provide excellent customer service by ensuring order accuracy and timely deliveries
- Maintain communication with customers and DoorDash support when necessary
- Follow all traffic laws and safety guidelines while delivering
