Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED equivalent
- valid driver's license
- minimum of 3 months experience driving a 24-foot box truck or larger
- physically able to handle heavy lifting and manual tasks
- pass drug screening and physical exam
- ability to comply with FMCSA regulations
- acceptable driving record
- age 21 or older
- English proficiency
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or GED equivalent
- 21 years of age or older
- valid and current driver's license in the state of residency
- minimum of 3 months professional experience driving a 24-foot box truck or larger commercial vehicle
- physically able to move furniture indoors and outdoors, including stairs and in all weather conditions
- ability to lift 100+ pounds with a partner
- ability to comply with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations
- English proficiency to converse with the public and understand traffic signs
- ability to maintain a valid DOT Medical Evaluator Certificate
- ability to pass a road test according to FMCSA/CORT standards
- acceptable motor vehicle record as per company standards
Job Duties
- review daily route and safety topics with operations team
- drive a 26-foot box truck with a lift gate to customer homes or offices
- unload, deliver, and install furniture while maintaining positive customer interaction
- assist with loading and unloading furniture in the warehouse as needed
- ensure compliance with all safety standards and company policies
